Organic Processing Investment Grant Scheme

The Organic Processing Investment Grant Scheme is operated by the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine (DAFM). It aims to develop the organic processing sector ensuring a consistent supply of high-quality organic produce to the market.

The scheme provides funding to eligible processors who wish to invest in developing facilities for the processing, preparation, grading, packing and storage of organic products consequently providing them with an opportunity to further enhance income.

The Grant Aid is payable at 60% of the eligible cost for projects above €3,000 (excluding VAT). The scheme is typically open an a rolling bassi, with applications processed in tranches announced by DAFM.
