Environmental schemes will come under the spotlight in CAP debate – IOA Column in Farming Independent

In the latest IOA column in the Farming Independent the focus is on Results based project agri-environmental measures and how they might feature in the next round of the CAP. Tommy Earley a farmer based in Leitrim is ahead of the curve and is already implementing a large number of biodiversity features on his farm. It seems likely that more quantifiable benefits will be expected in the future under agri-environmental schemes.
