National Organic Food Award Winners

Congratulations  to all IOA winners at the National Organic Food Awards  announced on September 12th.  There was a 100% increase in the number of entrants to the awards this year to well done to all. The IOA winners were

• Best Organic Dairy:
  Glenisk Greek Style Low-Fat Rhubarb Yogurt  from Glenisk, Offaly
• Best Organic Prepared Food Product:
  Smoked Irish Organic Salmon from Burren Smokehouse, Clare
• Best Organic Fresh Seafood Product:
  The Organic Salmon Company Retail Pack from The Organic Salmon Company, Donegal
• Best Organic Fresh Meat Product:
  Organic Back Rashers from Crowe’s Farm, Tipperary
• Best Organic Fruit and Vegetable Product: Beechlawn Farm were highly commended in this category for their organic curly kale and organic rocket.
