Apply for the EU Organic Awards 2026

Have an innovative story to tell about your organic farm or business? This is your chance to apply to the EU Organic Awards 2026, which are currently open for nomination until the 26th April 2026. The EU Organic Awards aim to showcase and reward excellence across the organic food and farming sector in Ireland and the rest of the EU. Award categories include:

Best organic farmer (Female) & Best organic farmer (Male)
Best organic region/bio-district
Best organic city
Best organic food processing SME
Best organic food retailer
Best organic restaurant/catering service

Further information on the different award categories and how to apply is available on the European Commission website. Finalists in each category will be announced in the coming months, with the winner announced at an awards ceremony in Brussels, marking European Organic Day on 23rd September 2026.
