Applications Open for 2025 Horticulture Investments including Beekeeping

Applications are currently open for the 2025 Horticulture Investment Aid Scheme operated by the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine. The scheme is designed to support the development of the Irish horticulture sector through grant aid for specialised plant and equipment investments. The Scheme is open to micro businesses and SMEs active in primary horticulture, including beekeeping. The minimum total investment supported is €7,500 excluding VAT (€2,000 in the case of beekeeping). The closing date for applications is Friday 13th December 2024 at 5:00 pm. Grant aid of up to 50% is available to licenced organic growers for investment specific to their horticulture enterprise. Further information is available here.
