IOA members scoop top prizes at National Organic Awards 2010
Mossfield Cheese picked up three awards this week at the 4th annual National Organic Awards in Dublin.
Mossfield cheese won the overall award for best organic product for their gouda style cheese. “Since the announcement and the resulting profile in the national media cheese sales have gone through the roof, I wish every week could be like this! ” said Ralf Haslam owner of Mossfield farm. Other IOA members to win the top prizes were Glenisk for their new baby yogurt, St – tola Cheese from Inagh in Clare, Beechlawn Organic Farm who won best seasonal organic vegetable box and Murphy’s Seafood.
Beal Cheese, Burrensmoke House and Moonshine Organics were highly commended for their products. Congratulations to all whose excellent products are showcasing the high quality available in the Irish organic sector at the moment.
