Bloom showcases artisan food
The glorious sun shine in the Phoenix Park is contributing to a great atmosphere at the Bloom festival which runs over the bank holiday weekend. This is the fifth year of the festival and this year the event features a new Bord Bia Food Village showcasing the Irish food industry with an artisan food market with 48 producers. There are also a number of displays of vegetables growing throughout the grounds with lots of talks on how to grow your own at the “GIY” stand. There is a lot of emphasis on sustainability and ways to promote and enhance our food culture in Ireland and abroad.
