New Irish Organic Strategy shows continued commitment to the sector

A new Organic Strategy for Ireland to 2030 was launched by Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine, Charlie McConalogue and Minister of State for Land Use and Biodiversity, Pippa Hackett at the National Ploughing Championships 2024 this week. The new Strategy, launched alongside organic stakeholders, outlines ambitions for developing the whole organic supply chain from farm to fork by the end of the decade. Focus areas include supporting organic farming participation; coordinating the value chain; growing the domestic market; driving export growth; expanding public procurement and boosting skills and support.
