European Organic Day Competiton

Brought to you by the Irish Organic Association

To celebrate European Organic Day we are organising a Colouring and Drawing Competition. European Organic Day is an annual event that takes place on 23 September to celebrate organic producers and enterprises in Ireland and Europe and raise awareness about organic food and farming. How to Enter

There are three categories to enter the competition

Colouring

6 years of age and under

Download, print and colour the image

Colouring

7 to 12 years of age

Download, print and colour the image

Drawing

13 years and over

Draw a picture depicting the ‘Wonderful World of Organics’

Prize

The winning entry in each category will receive a €100 voucher for Dublin Zoo. There will be 2 runners up in each category, and each will receive a €50 voucher for Dublin Zoo.

Submissions

Submit your entry by post to Irish Organic Association, 13 Inish Carraig, Golden Island, Athlone, Co. Westmeath, N37 N1W4

Please label “Colouring & Drawing Competition” and include:

  • Name of the child
  • Age of the child
  • Contact details of the parent/guardian submitting the drawing (phone number and email address)

Deadline for submission is 5pm, Friday 6th September 2024

Terms & Conditions

Participation in this competition constitutes acceptance of these conditions of entry.

  1. Entry is open only to children, up to the age of 17, in the specific age category and who are resident on the island of Ireland.
  2. Excludes employees of the Irish Organic Association, their immediate families (defined as parents, spouses, children and siblings), their agents or anyone professionally associated with this promotion.
  3. Only one entry per individual is permitted.
  4. Entries will only be accepted by post to Irish Organic Association, 13 Inish Carraig, Golden Island, Athlone, Co. Westmeath, N37 N1W4 and should be postmarked by the closing date. Entries will not be returned.
  5. Entries will only be accepted if the required information (child’s name, age and parent/guardian contact info) is included with the submission.
  6. Entries for both competitions will be accepted up to 5pm Friday 6th September 2024.
  7. Prizes for each category include the main prize winner in each a category winning a €100 Dublin Zoo Voucher with 2 runners up in each category receiving a €50 Dublin Zoo Voucher. No alternative prizes can be offered.
  8. Judge’s decision is final, and winners will be notified after the closing date.
  9. Submission of artwork is taken as giving permission for it to be displayed on our social media channels and publications including the child’s name and age.
