Organic Trading Hub set up to encourage business-to-business trade

A new website called the Organic Trading Hub has been set up to encourage business-to-business trade between organic farmers and other operators. The Organic Trading Hub, managed by the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine, aims to be a central platform connecting organic farmers and suppliers to facilitate the buying and selling of certified organic livestock and feedstuff across the country. The Hub was launched this week at the National Ploughing Championships. IOA members who have previously used the Classified Ads section of the Irish Organic Assoication website are now encouraged to use the Organic Trading Hub.
